The design provides three building plots that are surrounding a central square, so that the competition theme „living and working close to the city park“ can be experienced. Due to the compact building edges clearly recognizable interconnected green spaces and play areas are emerging. The building plots refer to the block size of the Barmbeker city structure. They form small-scale, differentiated residential and working areas with various types of houses and apartments – from loft spaces to social housing. The three-story perimeter development remains deliberately below the height of the treetops.
